Laundry Room - Before

The store-all-your-crap in room. Everybody has one, unfortunately for us it lies in our laundry room leaving us little room to maneuver and a look of unorganizeness(?!? is that a word?). So below are a few pictures of all of the crap we had in there, clearly a big mess...

Cleaning supplies, wrapping paper, random junk (my baseball cards:))

We also have one question remaining for ourselves... What do we do with this area? A little opening underneath our second bathroom that makes no sense...

Any suggestions?!?
