Friends Thanksgiving

Warning, this post is picture overload.  On Saturday, we had a few friends over for Thanksgiving.   There were about 10 adults and 5 kiddos.

Annie came over early to help me set up... and I love what we ended up with.

One of my friends that came was Suzanne and her daughter Quinn (Suzanne's husband had to work, but he made some yummy cookies for us anyway).  We met at our pregnancy class, and she had Quinn 2 days before Henry and Zoey were born.  Since then we have gotten together to let our kiddos play - they love each other.

She is such a cuite!! She is about the same height as Henry and Zoey, but about 3lbs lighter... 

Can you tell I thought Quinn was the cutest!  Also the kiddos got a little carried away with the cheerios at dinner..

Quinn is a natural gymnast... look at those splits.  Seriously, she was doing this all night and I was laughing so hard.  She was showing off...

It was such a nice night out.  So after dinner we went outside...

All in all - it was a great night!  It was awesome that the weather turned out so nice, that we could enjoy one last night outdoors.

Now - just 2 more full on Thanksgiving meals to go... wonder how many pounds of pumpkin I can eat in that time period?!

Fun Weekends!

They past two weekends have been awesome!  I got to see my best girlfriends.  Megan from Montana, Kelly from Virgina, Ali from California, Sarah from Iowa and Missy from Iowa.  Well and Annie from Minnesota, but I see her all the time :). 

Last weekend, you already saw Henry and Zoey hanging out with Missy and her kiddos.  Megan was in town with her husband from Montana, so we headed down to Iowa city to see them.  We got to tailgate together... and they got to see Henry and Zoey again. It was so much fun to spend time with them!

Then this past weekend, my friend Ali few in from California.  She is Henry's godmother - and he LOVES her.  I know that he is a happy baby in general, but seriously, this kid is kind of obsessed with Ali. 

On Saturday, we drove to Rochester to celebrate with Kelly for her baby shower.  She is having a boy in January and I couldn't be more excited for her (although Zoey is desperately waiting for one of my girlfriends to have a girl - right now she is seriously out numbered)!!  Sarah also drove up from Iowa for the shower.  I was horrible and did not take any pictures, so I stole this one from Kelly's awesome sister in law, who hosted the cutest shower.

It would have been so much fun if I could have seen all of them at the same time, but I will take what I can get :)  Miss you all, and wish I could see more of all of you.

Chillin' with friends

This past weekend, we made the trip down to Iowa City to spend some time with Nate's parents and to visit some of our friends that live there.  Saturday morning, we headed over to Ben and Missy's house.  They have Jack who is almost 2 and Brecken who is 2 months old. 

First we had to sit in Jack's fun chair...

Nate and Brecken seemed to like each other... I am sure that they were talking about the up coming game. 

Then we put 3 of the kids on the couch for a picture. Brecken had fallen asleep. Lets just say it was Jack's nap time... and Missy and I made him take too many pictures... 

Even crying hard, and wearing Ben's hat he is the cutest little guy!  I love how concerned Henry and Zoey look. 

The above picture is so funny - Zoey's pants (size 9 months) are a little tight and give her a muffin top... meanwhile, Henry's diaper is a little full, and he busted out the bottom of his outfit.  Closer view:

Lastly, Brecken - he was so good, and slept the majority of the time. How cute is he... and love that hair!

Trying to take a picture of 4 kids under one...

When our friends Brian, Sarah and Carter were visiting, we tried to get a picture of all 4 kids (Annie and Jeff's Hayes too).  Hayes and Carter are 2 weeks apart - so at the time they were about 10 months old,  I thought taking a picture of my two were hard... this was down right comical.

And this was only with 2 kids that could move.... can't wait to try this again.  While it was a crazy weekend with these four - it was so much fun.  Brian and Sarah - you are welcome any time.
