The Dining Room

Finally - I know!

A while ago, Nate and I decided that we were going to do our dining room. There was nothing horrible about our dining room before, but there was nothing special about it either. We knew that we wouldn't have to do anything huge - just a little paint, furniture, some electric work, and accessories.

Dining Room Lights

A while back, I was deciding between 3 different kinds of lights for our dining room, all of which I loved, and was having a really hard time deciding. Then this beauty went on sale - 50% off. I decided that was fate's way of telling me what light I should get. It is now fully installed and looks awesome.

I know that people want pictures, but I am really trying to completely finish the dining room before posting any. It will hopefully be done soon :)

Light Help

So- we are inching closer to a finished dining room: We have painted, the table is almost finished, the chairs have arrived (just need to stain their legs), now it is time to add the lighting. This decision is making me nervous, because the right light can really make the room.

Love this one, in fact, since our table is so long, I would have 2. This is so clean and classic!


This one would only need one- still clean but dramatic!



Then there is this beauty!

Seriously - I can't decide. Okay, well clearly I have decided on white cloth pendant lights, but that is where I stop. Also - these things are not cheap, just because they are not all metal, doesn't make them any cheaper.
