Papa Smurf sent me some Morel mushrooms that he had tracked down over the last few weeks. I forget how delicious these things are. Little flour, salt and pepa and mucho butter equals perfection.
This got me thinking (scary) that not too many people in MN ever talk about Morel's or mushroom hunting. Is this an Iowan thing? Meg is not a fan but then again she probably has not ever tried them.
What's your take? Ever had them?
